Variable Inductance Resonant Test Systems utilize a variable reactor to tune the system to the load capacitance in turn creating a resonance circuit. This provides a test circuit at line frequency, i.e. 50 or 60 Hz. Tank type models are available up to approximately 400 kV. For onsite Generator testing offer the optional skid mounted systems with can be equipped with a painted steel transportation cover. The skid which is easily movable via fork lift or crane makes these system an ideal choice for field testing.
