The Phenix line of Bench-top and single piece AC Hipots cover a voltage range of 3 to 15 kVAC. Several models are available at each voltage level to provide the needed current for your specific application. These models utilize an air insulated high voltage transformer and come standard with analog instrumentation, digital instrumentation is available as an option.
These test sets can be used for single-phase AC dielectric and insulation testing up to 15 kV, and are designed to test motors, cables, switchgear, bushings, capacitors, fuses, arrestors, and with other apparatus, according to UL, CSA, OSHA, NEMA, IEC, AEIC, IPCEA, IEEE, ASTM, and other applicable standards.
Supply Voltages
The standard supply voltage is a single-phase, 120V or 220V* Volts, 50/60Hz on models up to 2 kVA. Other input voltages are available as options.
High Voltage Output
The output is manually adjustable with distortion less than 5%. These hipots are designed for a duty cycle of 5 min ON/15 min OFF.
Cabinet
The bench-top models are housed in a rugged steel enclosure. Handles are provided for easy lifting on smaller models.
